Some gardeners will use a foliar feed as a supplement to other fertilizers. However, if the soil is good and there is a slow release fertilizer in place, you shouldn't have to feed them again until the longer term fertilizer has been used up. This would depend on what formulation you used, since some last as long as all season (consult the the label on the fertilizer you applied). Next, you might let your plants' appearance and performance be your guide. If they are growing well, it is better not to overfertilize. Overfertilizing is just as bad as than underfertilizing, causing lots lush growth that can attract pests.
