we had the tree for two years this spring all needles turned brown and die new growth little buds that turn brown we were given wrong info about planting we were to told to plant ball 3 feet by 3 feet tree was in to deep this was a very costly tree its a trained tree to grow in a twisted form we dug it out and planted at the right dept the tree branches are not brittle will it come back or should we just forget it there is some green mold on bark

Unfortunately it sounds as though your tree has been severely stressed over a period of time and may not make it as a result. Usually, when the new growth and old growth are both dried, the plant has had it. Sicne this was an expensive plant, you might want to check with your county extension (345-3283)to see if there is any hope or if they have any suggestions on caring for it in the meantime. I'm sorry about your tree.
