Usually when dogs are attracted to only one type of plant like that, there is something special used in the soil amendments or potting mix that attracts them such as dried blood or bone meal or sometimes, manure. For some dogs, too, the mere smell of freshly dug soil is an invitation to dig up whatever has been mysteriously "buried" and needs to be investigated. You might try using a repellent or cage the plants for their own safety.
