My holly tree is very pretty & full & blooms (I trim it round yearly) but it never produces the bright red berries. Why?

Hollies are either male or female and you need one of each for the female to produce berries. Try to determine which you're growing so you can get a mate. With both a male and a female in your landscape, you're sure to have berries.
