I impulsively bought a hypericum plant, approximately 18" tall with tiny flower buds on top (color yet to be determined). The nursery person didn't know much about it. My searches of the database only cover the groundcover type. How do I plant it and what will it do for me? Thank you. |
There are many kinds of hypericum. Many of them are shrub-like and can reach three feet tall and wide. Expect yellow blooms in summer followed by berries, probably red. These plants as a group are easy care and quite attractive. They prefer full sun ot partial shade and average soil or better. |
