....in An Oval Bed (15x10?) That Receives Full Sun - Near Sidewalk Where Snow Is Thrown In Winter - To Compliment A Two Year's Ago Planted (purple) Lilac Bush (whew!).I think I got it all in the "title"! |
Many perennials will do well in a full sun location. The snow acts as an insulator and is not usually harmful to perennials over the winter. Here are some to try: black eyed Susan, daylilies (hemerocallis) bulb lilies (lilium) purple cone flowers (echinacea), spring flowering bulbs, achillea, coreopsis, columbine, boltonia, heuchera (coral bells), liatris, nepeta, and shasta daisies. |
