Slug Resistent Flowers - Knowledgebase Question

Are there flowers that slugs and snails wont eat? I am tired of trying to kill these bugs from hell they just multiply i spend more money killing them, than on the plants please help by letting me know what burpees sells so i can plan for next year . by the way is it too late to plant seed in the garden , i have been told its past the growing season

Hungry slugs will eat almost anything, but here is a list of plants they generally are not interested in:
Ageratum
Allysum
Begonia
Cosmos
Geranium
Lobelia
Nasturtium
Nemesia
Portulaca
Painted daisy (Pyrethrum)
Verbena
Zinnia

Aquilegia (Columbine)
Arabis
Armeria
Astilbe
Aubrietia
Campanula
Dianthus (Pinks, Carnations)
Dicentra (Bleeding Hearts)
Geum
Gypsolphila (Baby's Breath)
Helleborus
Hemcrocallis (Day Lily)
Iberis (Candytuft)
