This would be a tropical hibiscus. It can be grown successfully as a houseplant in a very bright and sunny location. Keep it away from drafts, and provide humidity by using a pebble tray during the winter. A water soluble houseplant fertilizer for acid loving and/or blooming plants will help keep it in bloom, follow the label instructions.
