Squirrels Making Holes In Plants - Knowledgebase Question

EVERY MORNING I FIND HOLES IN MY GARDEN & POTS FROM THE SQUIRRELS HIDING THEIR PEANUTS>
PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN ONCE & FOR ALL GET RID OF THESE ANNOYING CREATURES>
I HAVE TRIED PUTTING SMALL PEBBLES AND LARGE ROCKS AROUND THE GARDEN & THE POTS BUT I FEEL THIS IS PREVENTING MY FLOWERS FROM GROWING>
HELP!!!!!!!!

Squirrels can be real pests. If you are feeding them, you could try moving their feeder location away from your plants. You can also try placing wire mesh over the soil surface to keep them from digging. You might also try the repellents formulated for squirrels, either a commercial one or a home made one based on garlic and/or red pepper.
