Ihave used oak leaf mold in the past to protect my lettuce from insects, it has always worked great. The retail outlet has recently discontinued carying this product, do you have any suggestions where to purchase it. My lettuce would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

If this was a bagged product, perhaps they could tell you the company name and you could contact them about where in your area it is now available. Alternatively, maybe you could make your own oak leaf mold by collecting oak leaves (perhaps from a neighbor with an oak tree) and shredding them, then allowing them to compost. This is the typical method of producing leaf mold -- it is nothing but partially decomposed leaves.
