I moved my houseplant from the west facing window(inside the house) to a west facing window, in the garage. The temperature inside the garage can reach upwards of 100-120 degrees. My poor plant! It's not dead just fried, help! what can I do to bring her back from near death?
Plant:Miniature Arboricola "umbrella shaped" leaves
|I'm sure you've already taken the first critical step - moving the plant to a more protected area! Depending upon the amount of tissue damage, you may lose all or most of the foliage on your plant. If it was healthy before the overexposure, the roots should be able to produce healthy new growth. Cut back any dead top growth, water as usual, provide a cooler spot, and protect it from direct sunlight until it begins to sprout new growth. Then carefully move it back into the sun exposure it requires. Hope your plant makes it!|
