I have a low growing border plant that has white blooms in the spring that we know as Candy Tuft. I have collected seeds and brought them in to dry. How should I process the seeds and when and how to plant them. Thank you.

I'll bet you're growing alyssum. The seeds should be placed in an airtight container and stored in a cool, dark area. You can plant indoors in late winter or outdoors in very early spring. To start seeds indoors (4-6 weeks before planting out), sow seeds on the surface of moistened growing medium and keep trays or pots at 55F-75F. Seeds will germinate in 5-14 days. Outdoors, sow just after last frost.
