| I found this flower on the side of the road this weekend and it is purple on it is on a stalk it grows tall and blooms mid day and it is surronded by four other of the smae kind and then you go a few feet and another five grow and so fourth. I am just wanting to know he name of this flower. |
| Based on your description it is a bit difficult to make a guess but it might be a type of Liatris; an upright plant that looks a bit like wands of tiny pink flowers in bloom and in your area would be blooming around the start of July.
