My backyard is too hot during summer and dry. I want to plant some trees to block the sun shine and to get some shade. I can not afford big trees. Could you give me some names they are fast growing and can use for shade. Thanks,

Some good choices for backyard shade trees include Morus (fruitless mulberry), Acer palmatum (big leaf maple) and Prunus 'Hally Jolivette' (flowering cherry). All trees are moderately fast-growing and have large leaves to provide dense shade.
