I purchased this great fointain grass from you, then I found out it was an annual in colder climates. Can I mulch over it to survive the winter, or do I hve to bring it in. And If i bring it in to i water it over the winter??
Please advise.

There are certainly some ornamental grasses that are hardy in your area, so I would assume you are referring to the purple fountain grass or Pennisetum setaceum 'Rubrum', a grass that is not at all cold hardy. This grass is usually treated as an annual in cold winter areas because it is difficult to overwinter it. Mulching it would not be enough protection. You would need to have potted divisions and keep them in a cool greenhouse, taking care to keep the soil just barely moist but not so wet that the roots rot. I'm sorry I can't be more encouraging.
