Can I still lift my mums and move them to another place???Is it time to clean up? |
A better time to transplant mums is early spring when they first begin to grow again. At that time you can divide them, taking sections of about four inches across from the more vigorous perimeter portion of the plant. Each section will grow into a nice plant by the end of the summer. Transplanting in late fall is risky because the roots will not have much time to become established before the stress of winter sets in. |
