MY MERYER LEMONS ARE VERY LARGE AND FRAGRANT BUT NOT QUITE SOFT YET, HOW DO I KNOW WHEN TO HARVEST THEM?

Unfortunately, rind color is not an accurate indicator, and lemons can be hard and still be ripe. The best way to tell is a taste-test. Lemons can stay on the tree for a long time, usually about 6-7 months.
