|Hi, do you know if there is a smaller form of chamaecyparis obtusa 'gracilis', which I thought was called 'nana gracilis'? If so, does Monrovia grow it?
|Gracilis is a slender Hinoki cypress growing about 20' tall with with nodding branch tips. Nana Gracilis is a miniature version, growing about 4' in height. Monrovia has Pygmaea Aurescens, a compact Hinoki cypress, growing only 2' in height. If you're looking for something a little taller, check out the patio tree form of Pygmae Aurenscens. (The top is grafted onto a taller rootstock to produce a tree-like specimen.)Hope this answers your question!|
