|What pesticide do you recommend for this plant. Also what fertilizer to use and when. Thanks for your help.|
|The catalog describes Eugenia myrtifolia 'Monterey Bay'as providing a bold, lush appearance from a full-branching, excellent tall evergreen screen or hedge. New growth remains bronze-red over a long season. Creamy-white brush-like flowers followed by rose-purple fruit. Full to partial sun. Moderate grower to 15 to 20 feet tall, 8 to 10 feet wide. It is such a vigorously growing plant that regular fertilizer isn't required.
Unless you've identified a specific insect or disease pest on your plant, there's no reason to apply a pesticide. If your plant does develop insect or disease problems, submit another question and well help you identify the problem and recommend a control specific to your brush cherry.
