Is it possible to grow Sago Palms and Pygmy Date Palms in zone seven outside/inside?

Sago palm is not really a palm, but a cycad. The genus/species is Cycas revoluta. It is hardy to 15 degrees F. Depending on where you live in North Carolina, it might get colder than that. It can perform well in the house, so you could move it indoors for winter. Pygmy date palm (Phoenix roebelenii) has about the same temperature constraints. It can also be grown indoors.
