I am looking for native shrubs for our backyard to create a natural fence. They can't be anything that will become too tall as this area is below our telephone and eletric wires. I am in eastern Pennsylvania, which I believe is Zone 6.

You might consider among the following selections depending on the sun and soil in that area: red chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia), sweetshrub (Calycanthus), summersweet (Clethra), Itea, winterberry holly (Ilex verticillata), bayberry (Myrica) and the shrub dogwoods such as Cornus racemosa.
