|When we purchased our current home several year ago, there was a wonderful old jasmine (yellow flowers and evergreen foliage) covering the side of the screened porch. During an expansion of the house, the old porch was torn off and a larger one built. The jasmine was dug and potted during the building process, then replanted next to the foundation of the new porch (a trellis was placed on the side of the porch for the anticipated vigorous growth of the jasmine). It has been replanted for a year now, and it just sits there, staying green, but never reaching over a few inches. Should I be amending the soil in some way; what type of soil situation does this vine require and what kind of fertilizer?
