Rolly pollies, sometimes called sow bugs, are generally considered beneficial in the garden because they feed on organic matter. Their job is to help decompose plant debris. If populations are large they can begin feeding on live plants, and that can be a problem. The best way to control the population is to remove old plant debris from the bed, including organic mulches. Then roll up a few sheets of newspaper to make a tube, moisten the tubes, and place them in the garden after sunset. The pests will hide in the paper tubes overnight and in the morning you can pick up the rolled paper and toss it in the trash. Repeat the process until no more rolly pollies are found in the paper tubes.
