My Dwarf Euryops were planted in mid September. They remained healthy looking until our heavy frost. We cut them down below the foliage. This spring they are not showing any signs of life and the branches are very brittle. Can you advise me on what to expect at this time?

Bonita,

That plant may be dead due to your winter cold. With a thumbnail, scape back the bark in several places working from the top down to the soil line on the trunk. If you see brown wood all the way down it is dead. If there is any living tissues to cut back to, they will be light green to a creamy white color.
