|I am searching for a plant that my mother had growing in her garden. She called it a money plant. If you rubbed the outer layers you would expose an inner translucent coin shaped center. I have had no success. Can you help me?|
|This is an old fashioned or heirloom type of biennial called Lunaria annua, sometimes called honesty or money plant. It is usually grown from seed or a small transplant initially and then reseeds itself here and there in the garden. Pinetree Seeds
carries seed for it in their Everlastings section, an internet search using google and the Latin name as search term should bring up additional sources.
