Bougainvillea is a vining plant but will need to be tied to supporting wires until it begins twining on its own. Once you've established the basic framework, the vines seem to intertwine all on their own. The easiest method to train against a wall is to string wires from ground level to the top of the wall (or roofline). As the vines lengthen, tie them loosely to the wires, weaving each around a single wire. As the plant bulks up, twine some of the vines into the masses that are attached to the wires. Eventually new growth will make the mass of vines quite dense. Good luck with your bougainvilleas!
