I recently ordered and recived 24 acuba plants. I odered them when I had good results with these plants I bought last spring they survived the winter well but I just noticed that many leaves are turning yellow can you give me some advice... |
This plant is relatively problem free but there are some possible causes such as transplant shock, a frost could have bothered them if they had been shipped recently from further south and were not acclimated to the cold, planting too deeply, overfertilizing and over watering or under watering. They need an evenly moist soil but it should not be sopping wet. They also need an acid soil, so you might want to double check your pH. Finally, you might want to take a sample and possibly a photo or two and consult with your county extension. You might also want to check with the nursery where you purchased the plants right away since you only recently received them. Good luck with your aucubas. |
