|Information about a Oregon Bue Cypress Tree|
|This lovely tree, a blueish and columnar yet broad variety of Chamaecyparis lawsoniana or Lawson Falsecypress, is native to the Pacific Northwest and grows in zones 5 to 7. It prefers an evenly moist yet well drained, organic soil, requires shelter from wind, and dislikes hot sun although it needs a bright location. Unfortunately, I would expect the fierce summer heat and warm summer nights in Tulsa to overwhelm it. However, here is some background information from the University of Delaware.
