Where and how can I buy some Easter Lily seedlings or plants? This is the white large lily which is sold in containers during Easter time in Southern California. When I re-plant on the ground from the pots after the blooms have wilted, I have been able to get blooms again at other times of the year.

Easter Lily is Lilium longiflorum and it grows from a bulb. You should be able to purchase the bulbs in the fall when they're widely available. The normal bloom time is summer and most wholesale greenhouses start the bulbs in October, carefully regulating the environment to force them to bloom in March and April. Because they take up so much space, and because the environment needs to be spring-like in order to develop flower buds, growers don't usually keep them (or offer them for sale) during the summer months. You might try to contact one of the larger bulb suppliers such as Van Bourgondien (800-552-9916). They may be able to accommodate your request. Best wishes in your search!
