|I was told not to use Wichita Junipers for a hedge, because where they touch would turn brown and die off, is this true.

|Junipers grow best in an open situation where they receive full sun on all sides. They will shade each other out somewhat in a closely planted crowded hedge situation. Arborvitae (Thuja) is often used instead for a similarly upright evergreen hedge because the plants will meld together better when they eventually grow close.
