I just purchased two of your Dwarf Globe Blue Spruce's and I would like your thoughts on how they might grow in larger containers (on a patio), oppose to planting then directly in the ground.

Your new little spruce's will adapt quite well to growing in containers. Plants in containers need a bit more attention in terms of watering frequency and feeding than plants growing in the ground. Water thoroughly when the soil begins to dry out and feed frequently during the spring and summer months with a one-half strength dilution of liquid fertilizer.
