We have purchased the above drawf shrub...it is trained aroun sticks...can we remove the sticks?...kls

Any supports and ties should be removed once the plant is self-supporting. In the meantime, loosen the ties as needed to keep them from binding or cutting into the bark and restricting internal circulation.
