I would appreciate if you can provide advise on the kind of tree I should plant in a place which gets full sun from 8a.m. to 12 p.m. It a nice place and behind is window where my office is located. I would see it from my window. The tree I am talking about could be 15 gallons tree to start with. (I don't want fruit tree) I have already planted a NAHGAMI KUMQUAT in that particular place and I am trying to remove it from there because the lack of enough sun.

Thank you so much and God bless you!

A good choice for the site is Cornus nuttallii, the Western Dogwood. It's native to northern California and the Pacific Northwest, but will grow reliably in your gardening region. Cornus nuttallii produces attractive flowers in early spring, followed by medium-green leaves which turn yellow, pink and then red in the autumn. It's happy in morning sun and afternoon shade, likes average soil and prefers to be watered regularly during the growing season so planting in a lawn will suit it quite nicely.
