Hardy mums and hardy violas or pansies tolerate frost well. Violas or pansies may bloom off and on during warm spells all winter and again in the spring. If well established, mums may also survive the winter and can be grown as perennials to bloom again next fall.

African violets must be grown indoors for the winter. They do well in daytime temperatures of the average home and slightly cooler nights, about 65 degrees. They like a bright location but without direct sun and would appreciate the increased humidity one can provide inside a table top greenhouse.

Enjoy your greenhouse!
