I am making bird seed wreaths from bread dough and want to know what kind of a substance I can use to glue the seeds to the wreaths that won't harm the birds. Thanks

I think you could press the seeds into the surface of the dough before baking, depending on the type of seed you are using. A light coating of egg white would help it to stick. Another option might be to spread peanut butter on the baked bread and press the seeds into that, this is what I would use for larger seeds such as sunflower seeds in the shells. Bon appetit!
