I would like to grow Magnificent Brunfelsia in Rancho Cucamonga. It looks like I am on the border-line according to the map. What do I need to do to succeed with these plants?

'Magnificent' is less cold hardy than the other Brunfelsia cultivars, but produces larger flowers, so I think it's worth a try! Give your plant rich, well-drained soil, partial afternoon shade, and a site reasonably frost-free. If you plant yours in a container you can move it to a protected area such as a covered patio or unheated garage if freezing temperatures are predicted. Best wishes with your Brunfelsia!
