Is Camarillo Fiesta Bougainvillea Available In Patio Tree Form? - Knowledgebase Question

To Whom It May Concern,

Thank you for your website full of great gardening ideas and, of course, your beautiful plants!

We have a small front yard and plan to use Thundercloud Purple Leaf Plum as the sole tree in our planting scheme. This tree would be planted slightly to one side of the house keeping the front of the house clear. We also wanted to incorporate Camarillo Fiesta Bougainvillea as an accent along the foundation of the house between the two front windows (space is roughly six feet) surrounded by plantings of Indian hawthorn and Wheeler's dwarf mock orange. We thought the patio tree form might be a good choice.

Please let me know if the plant is available in patio tree form and I also appreciate any comment you may have regarding the choice of a patio tree in this plan.

Thank you so much for your input.

To begin with, I think your planting plan has merit. You'll have a variety of foliage colors and textures, yet they will complement one another enough to bring harmony to the yard and the house, effectively tying the plantings all together. It sounds as though you have enough space for the plants you mention - they'll be happy and you'll be happy with the results.

Bougainvillea 'Camarillo Fiesta' is listed in the catalog as being available in patio tree form so you should have no trouble finding it at your local nursery. Here's a list of nurseries in your area - be sure to phone ahead!
