|When should I plant annuals and perennials?|
|Spring and fall are the optimum planting times because temperatures are usually mild and rainfall abundant. Technically, you can plant any time the ground is not frozen but you'll want to time your plantings according to the types of plants you're installing. Spring and summer flowering annuals can be planted about two weeks after your last predicted frost for the season. Fall and winter blooming annuals can be planted from mid-summer through mid-fall. The same goes for flowering perennials. Plants are usually available at nurseries and garden centers when it's time to plant them in the garden.
Best wishes with your garden!
