I recently received several blooming tulip bulbs. I would like to plant them in my garden. However, everything I read says they should be planted in the fall. I live in Alabama. Is there anyway I can plant them in my garden now?

There is not a good answer to that one. They do need to be planted in about December in your area. Planted now they just won't have time to put down roots, grow and bloom before the summer heat shuts them down. The alternative is to hold them in a cool spot out of sunlight until next December which is also rather iffy but may be your best bet.
