Snapdragons are usually considered annuals but in your warm winter gardening region, snapdragons can live over the winter months and flower again the following spring. I simply cut off all the old stems in the early spring and the roots produce new flowering stems. Your snapdragons may do the same - simply clip all the old stems down to ground level. Best wishes with your snaps!
