HOW WOULD ONE CARE FOR A THYMUS PAN? THANKS..
|I am unable to find a reference specifically for Thymus Pan, however Thymus or the herb thyme grows well in full sun (or at least a half a day of sun) and a well drained soil, meaning one that is not soggy or wet. If you have heavy clay soil you might try planting it on a slight slope to assure good drainage. It is not a heavy feeder and should not need much care once it is established. After it blooms you can shear it back lightly to tidy it up, other than that it should not need much routine trimming. If you feel it needs fertilizing, you could give it an annual top dressing of good quality compost in spring and/or an application of general purpose granular fertilizer or a slow release fertilizer with an analysis of 10-10-10 or similar proportions according to the label instructions. I hope this helps.|
