I have a glacier ivy that was given to me as a gift...What is the best type of soil to plant this ivy in? Does the size of the pot/container matter?

Shemeka,

The standard potting soil blends sold at Home Depot will all work fine for that plant. If the plant has filled in the container it is currently growing in, when you replant it move to one size larger of a container. Allow it to dry out just a bit between waterings to avoid promoting root rots. Place it in a bright area but out of direct sunlight.

Hope you enjoy your new plant!
