|Dig down 6"-8" and incorporate some organic matter to help facilitate drainage and improve the soil texture. Then rake the area smooth and broadcast grass seed. Cover the seed with a little peatmoss to keep moisture from evaporating too quickly, and water daily to keep the seedbed moist. All this effort should result in happy, healthy grasses, without a bare spot in sight!
