Help!!trying to add curb appeal to my lawn, and don't know a thing about gardening, but is trying to learn. I recently purchased two Eugenia topiary to place on each side of my garage. My first question is, Is it okay to plant them in a container, or must they be planted in the ground, and how do you care for them, also what would you suggest to plant around the base of the topiary for color. I thought about the small yellow looking petunias. thanks for the help |
Brenda, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question as we are transitioning to a new Q&A system. I hope this reply is not too late to be of help. Eugenia can be grown in pots or in the ground. The yellow petunias will do fine in spring or fall but may really suffer in the heat of summer. Purslane or portulaca is another option as is New Gold lantana, Lysimachia, or Blackfoot daisy. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
