There are many different styles and price ranges in drip irrigation systems. A very simple and inexpensive one for occasional use is the so-called leaky hose that is snaked along the ground next to the plants. It is quick and simple to use and easily moved from row to row or bed to bed. This might be sufficient if you need only occasional watering for a vegetable garden during say July and August which tend to be the driest months of summer. You can go to the other extreme with an elaborate underground system. You will need to look at the different systems and evaluate them in view of your water source and water pressure, whether or not you want to install it permanently or seasonally, what your budget is, and how handy you are or if you prefer a professional to install it. I would suggest you look at what is easily available locally (including spare and replacement and add-on parts), read the installation and maintenance instructions that come with them, and select the one that seems best suited to your specific needs.
