East Islip, NY (Zone 6B)
|We are being over-taken by wild onion throughout our lawn. Short of digging up each and every one, is there anything we can spray onto the lawn that will also be safe for pets and kids?

|Onions can be difficult to control in a lawn. I would suggest you work with your county extension to develop a control and maintenance plan. They will be aware of which particular products are licensed for use in your state and are least toxic to use. They will also be able to tell you the best timing for applying it to get the best results. Be sure to read and follow all of the label instructions. Good luck with your lawn!
