Mimosa leaves yellow and end of branches dying - Knowledgebase Question

I have a mimosa tree planted in my yard located in the full sun. for the last three years as it nears blooming in June, many of the leaves turn yellow and and end of the branches dye. What is the cause and what can I do?

Mimosas are subject to a number of disease problems including vascular wilt in particular. I would suggest you consult with your county extension and see if they can determine the cause of the problem more specifically and, based on that, suggest any steps you can take to help it along.
