I live in the Fremont, Bay Area, and has mild climate. Do you think I can be successful with growing Cherimoya? I know it is a sub tropical tree, but relatively frost tolerant.

I recently see Home depot, Milpitas carry them, from La Verne Nursery.

Any advise with best chance of success?

Thanks

Cherimoya will survive temperatures as low as 25F. It's unlikely you'll receive temperatures that low for an extended period of time, so I think you'll be successful with one in your yard. I think I'd take the chance - the flowers are fragrant and the fruit is wonderfully flavorful. Enjoy!
