My red dragon's breath hibiscus is losing it's blossoms before they unfold. About a dozen blooms have fallen off. What could cause this? I just bought and planted them a week ago.

If you just purchased the plants, it's possible that they're going through a little stress while getting used to their new home. Exposure to sunshine may be different (more or less), you may water more or less often, or the trip home may have been stressful. I wouldn't worry too much about the dropped flower buds, aside from not being able to see those beautiful open flowers. Healthy hibiscus will produce lots and lots of flowers all throughout the summer. Enjoy!
