|What is the easiest way to get rid of Bermuda grass so it won't come back.|
|You will be tempted to apply an herbicide such as Roundup, but unfortunately, it won't work. It will kill the Bermuda Grass - but the Bermuda Grass would most likely come back. Because Bermuda grass spreads by stolons, there will almost always be parts of the plant (the grass) not touched by the herbicide.|
The best control is to dig the Bermuda Grass out, getting as much root and spreading stolons as possible, and lay down a couple of layers of corrugated cardboard followed by other mulch. Try not to let the Bermuda grass flower and go to seed before you remove it. A lot of work I know, but better insurance against the grass coming back.
